I started st Empire Physical Therapy on March 1st. My goal was to prepare for a total knee replacement. I had advanced arthritis in both knees. During the therapy I learned that I also had several issues regarding my back including herniated disks. David Stedjan addressed all of the other issues, prepared me for the total knee replacement surgery so that when I was operated on I was prepared not just physically but emotionally as well. He gave me the courage to schedule the surgery. The personal care I received at Empire is extraordinary. I have been to many physical therapists over the years and no one compares to the care at Empire. I feel secure and cared for and the atmosphere is friendly and fun. I recommend Empire Phsyical Therapy and Rehabilitation to anyone regardless of age or level of fitness. They meet you where you are and take you to the next level. I came in with two problems: both my legs were weak because of a hip replacement 10 years ago and my right shoulder had recently been strained lifting up a heavy suitcase.
