The manager and owner was rude and disrespectful. It was my Dad’s birthday. I made reservations online ahead of time and requested specifically to sit in the back room in the note section.
He then asked how many and normally you have to make reservations and make a down payment. In all reality I informed him I made reservations online for a party of 2 and it was my dad’s birthday and I requested to be seated in the back room due to my elderly father having hearing problems. He rolled his eyes and told me we don’t have that table available. Just so you know this was a Tuesday evening and it was completely empty in the restaurant. The bar had a couple people and the booths in the open had 3 tables filled. Unfortunately restaurant business is a hard industry especially when the manager is insensitive and cares about making sure his servers don’t have to walk far. It is sad and discouraging. I was a regular here. If he had proper reading skills he would already be aware of the online reservations. All he does is stand around staring at customers and guests. I could see if it was graduation or holiday season but this was a simple Tuesday night and I was not expecting a lot. Just wanted something peaceful and quiet away from screaming kids. Like do you really think I would pay a deposit for that? He’s lucky to have any business especially when he let my father and I walk out of his restaurant. Typically I am a huge supporter of local and family businesses.
