The Family Shih Tzu is where we got our puppy. Rachel answered all our endless questions and is always patient with our questions. We came over and met Rachel and her husband and all the dogs. We adopted our darling 1-year-old Shih Tzu, Tilly, from The Family Shih Tzu. She is absolute perfection! Soooo beautiful, so smart and such a great temperament! She is such a fun, funny and snuggly girl! We could not be more thrilled. We had an excellent experience. We saw our puppy and met with Rachel and Karl 3 times before taking our sweet puppy home. Each time they were very thorough in answering all our questions and providing necessary education about Shih Tzus and how to properly care for them. They micro chipped our pup, helped us register our pup on the AKC website, enroll for pet insurance and even provided a bag of puppy food. Rachel and Karl are friendly, kind and knowledgeable and most importantly they care about the welfare of their pups. After weeks of searching on Facebook and Craigslist with no success, and some very shady sites, we found The Family Shih Tzu on Google. Honest to say that we are so glad we did because we found our little puppy girl, “Maggie”! It was an incredible experience from the start! We were able to come see Maggie and then also have weekly visits until we just brought her home. They prepared us for taking her on home with great medical and pet records, some pet food and helpful tips to give her the best start to her life with us.
