Lovely staff and room always clean.Good breakfast and cheap parking available.Strategic position to visit Santa Monica and not so far from LA.Special mention for the two ladies at the counter on September 22 in the morning.There was a problem with the reservation so that the room was not as expected. Since we had to stay 3 night, they immediately managed the situation proposing an upgrade at no extra charge.

😀 - The room was clean, beds firm, bathroom very clean. Continental breakfast was the usual carb fare, including a pancake maker if you like making your own. It did include hard-boiled eggs for protein and fresh fruit (bananas and apples). Coffee was not lovely, but most places the coffee is not. Front desk folks were nice, as was housekeeping. I was in the 400 room block, which has a central courtyard with patio furniture and umbrellas fitted over the tables. It is entered from a front gate, which made the place feel both pleasant and secure. There is a Trader Joe's just a half-block away. There was a microwave and mini-fridge that was convenient to use and a small table at which to eat. It's not fancy, but it has character and was a good value. 😞 - I did not realize that parking was for a fee -- $11 a day.

😀 - Man kann sich sehr sicher fühlen. Parkplatz direkt am Hotel, Eingangsbereich zu den Zimmern extra durch Gitter zur Straße abgesichert.
