We just needed a room for a few nights before a long haul flight home to Australia. The room was a good size, beds are comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient. Sadly the shower head was horrible and made it really difficult to wash my long and super thick hair. This hotel was perfect for our needs. While there wasn’t much available close by food wise, we were able to get a grab and head to the Santa Monica Pier and explore and find a restaurant down there. It was only a 10 minute ride away. We also found a target while wandering the area to grab a few snacks There is a trader Joe’s’ next door if you want a few little things - we just grabbed some water and fruit and some items we wanted to try once we were back home. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

😀 - Located in a relatively chill and quiet area. Parking lots are placed in rather odd ways but not a big deal. At least it was free. Staff was polite and helpful. 😞 - The room was on the small side.

We had a fantastic experience with the staff at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned expertly and the staff was so accommodating and helpful when we had travel difficulties. I would highly recommend this hotel to others traveling to the Santa Monica area. The location of the hotel was great for vacationers as we had various sightseeing interests in the area. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism of the staff and how they made our stay like a home away from home.

Lovely hotel. Decent size room, nice and clean, lovely staff too. Free breakfast in the morning (bagels, toast, pancakes, fruit and yoghurt) as well as tea and coffee. It is not on the beachfront but there are bus stops outside and I used the Metro to get to Downtown SM which was around a 15-20 minute walk (I do not drive). I believe if you have a car the beach is only a short drive away. Several shops and cafes/restaurants nearby (Trader Joe's, Starbucks, McDonalds all within close walking distance). Staff helped me book a taxi to get to LAX on my last day and were so friendly and helpful, they also let me store my luggage on the last day as my flight wasn't until late evening, this was very much appreciated.
