Update August of 2023 our roof started leaking from the panels. We called PES and this time the manager gladly sent someone out in 48 hours fixed the leak and agreed to reimburse the cost of damages to our ceiling. Not sure if there was a change in management but definitely 100% better customer service now. We purchased 103 panels in spring 2022. Although our salesperson James Hall has always been available and did a great job, that has not been my experience with the rest of the company. This company is absolutely horrible to deal with. I am writing this review after having the panels on my house for 200 days. I have had nothing but issues with PES Solar and their management from day 1. Initially we were given an installation date of late December 2021. There were numerous administrative delays and the system was not finally completed until April 2022. It took another month to get the system on file and working with FPL as the paperwork needed for FPL approval was not correct as submitted by PES Solar. During the installation the crews would carelessly throw trash and debris off the roof. They even damaged my screen enclosure by the debris they were throwing off the roof. They would not pick up their trash and I was cleaning up water bottles, snack containers for days after they left. After the system was installed, within the first 24 hours of use the circuit breaker box became hot and would trip/turn off. The system would overload the circuit box after only a few ours of running. I called customer service numerous times in which the IT department told me this circuit breaker tripping was normal for the first few days a system was deployed. The customer service rep assured me MULTIPLE times that everything was installed properly and passed inspection so it had to be correct. It wasn't until the system started smoking and James got other management involved that someone came out to inspect my system. At that time it was discovered that the wrong size/wattage circuit breaker was installed in my house even though it had passed "inspection". This error nearly caught my house on fire. Fast forward a few months and one of my panels stopped working and wasn't functioning. Although PES claimed they monitor and will come out for broken panels, they in fact do not. I called them 4 times over a two week period to come out and fix the panel. It took them over a month after the original date they promised me to arrive and repair. Now, in November 2022 in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Nicole (for reference this storm did not do any damage in our area, no downed trees, no missing panels from our screen enclosure, etc) our roof started leaking. I hired a roofer to come out and assess the roof. The roofer explained the solar panels were not attached to our tile roof appropriately/tightly and as a result water was able to get in to our attic. The roofer took pictures explaining what happened and suggested PES come out and inspect to make sure other panels did not have the same problem with not being appropriately secured. I paid for all the damages myself and only asked PES to come out and inspect this and other panels to ensure they were installed properly. The customer service rep "Nari" insisted there couldn't possibly be something wrong with the installation and that since the system passed inspection it wasn't their problem (despite a qualified roofer stating otherwise). This was very reminiscent of a few months prior when they assured me everything was installed correctly and my house almost caught on fire from the smoking circuit breaker. PES claims they warranty their work however this is not true. PES refuses to come and check the other attachments without charging me a fee. Not only are the customer service people rude and unhelpful, but the company doesn't stand by its word. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Ever. 2024 Edit: I think management must have changed. Things have improved significantly at customer service. Recently, they came out and fixed my leaky roof with no issues. Less

We chose PES Solar in 2022 after working with and reviewing a number of solar companies. We survived hurricane Ian. We had an issue with our roof leaking in one spot recently. This would be September 2024. The roofing company and PES worked very well together over several weeks to determine the problem. (needed to know is it related to the solar panel bracket or the roofing company work, new roof 2022). After hurricane Helene, the roof was still leaking, and the PES technician came out the day after the hurricane. He drove three hours. He was incredible, he identified the problem and even though it was not a problem related to the solar company since he was here and he was able to fix it and seal the rusted screw he did that for us and kept the problem from becoming a real nightmare we are grateful! Just one of the reasons we chose PES Solar and you should too Less
