I found Dave Toaland Flooring on google, and took a chance on his company based on the positive reviews. I was looking for someone to replace the carpet on the stairs in our condo. When I called Dave, he answered the phone right away . After a short discussion, and sending him picture of my staircase , he scheduled the job for the following week, and gave me a price that was much better than what I got from the company, I purchased the carpet from. Chris was the installer, and he showed up on time, and did the job fast, and very well. He was also really nice to talk to, and I felt like he was really listening to our requests, and was flexible, and accommodating . I wish I worked with Dave & Mark from the beginning. We had another contractor that butchered the job, twice! I'm off island making this whole process harder but Dave reassured me that he's done this before. Unlike other companies, Dave had no problem picking up the flooring I selected at Home Depot and helped me find other items that were sold out. The flooring came out great. We had Dave Toland Flooring install large format tiling that looked like wood. The porcelain tile was 48“ x 9“ with many complex angles and they did a beautiful job. We felt very comfortable with letting Luke and Mikey into our home, we left them with a key and they let themselves in and lock the door every day for nearly 3 weeks. We felt safe. We contracted with Dave for our new house in Kailua Kona. Dave sent an excellent crew.headed by Mark Mattos. they tore out the carpeting, demo all the tile floors, leveled the entire house surface and did a beautiful job laying down the flooring. The estimate was originally three weeks and they got it done in two weeks extremely pleased with that work and Dave is a great guy to deal with. I highly recommend them for your flooring install.🤙🏻
