I woke up, sometimes with a migraine, and the remainder of the days, crossing my fingers I would not develop a migraine throughout the day. I have tried medications, chiropractors, massage, and other common methods to alleviate the pain. Some of these helped, but never long term. I also have had the same pillow for 16 years----DISGUSTING--- but could not find another one that I would not wake up with a migraine every time I used it, so I had to stick to my nasty old pillow. I had a Hemorrhagic stroke October 8th, 2019. It left me completely paralyzed on the left side. I was in 60 days of Inpatient therapy at a place called On With Life in Ankeny Iowa. Needless to say, I was not in good shape, but was told if I work hard I will get back most of what I lost. After impatient, I was sent home to do outpatient until December 2020. I was told that my year of therapy was paid up and I would have to keep working on my own. I got 80% of my left leg back but only 30% of my arm back. On 12/17/2020 I had my first day of care. I noticed much change the first two weeks. I was overly tired and sore. I have really started to feel the improvements, as my knee is starting to become more natural when walking and my arm mobility is improving. I’m getting gains every day. My balance is getting better, no more headaches, my body is not nearly as sore as it used to be, and my moods are more at an even keel.
