This company used to be my go-to car detailer that I’d recommend to everyone. It used to be exceptional service and a great clean. We stopped using them due to a couple of reoccurring issues (clean not quite up to standard/ late or no shows) to their credit the owner would always ensure issues were dealt with and then they would go above and beyond to fix them. We again decided to give them another shot today as it is a locally owned and operated business by a couple of young lads- (booked a week or two in advance) only to get a text message shortly before they were supposed to arrive to say they wouldn’t make it and they might come later in the day. After phoning the office a couple of times and receiving only a simple - “missed a call, what’s up” - type of message I have given up hope they will come today. The lack of communication after arranging to have my truck home for the day is hugely frustrating. It will be a shame to see these lads not succeed but these reoccurring problems need resolving. Unfortunately i will not be booking this company again, and I do not recommend them at all. I booked a service for September labour day, but had to move it to September 30 which was a holiday. They confirmed the appointment. I later emailed them that I had changed my phone number and that they can contact me via my new number. On the day of, I waited for 10-15 mins but didn’t see them. I called 3 times to get in touch and left voicemails. I finally got through and was told that their truck didn’t start that day and that they’d have to reschedule but they’ll let me know if the truck works again. I called back hours later to check but never got through. I gave them a second chance and booked for Thanksgiving Day (i understand that it’s a holiday but since they have it available on that day, why not?). I got reminder emails prior to the appointment. 30 mins later after the appointment time, nobody showed up. Tried calling again and again and left voicemails but no one even called me back to communicate what’s going on. This type of customer service is unprofessional and absolutely not acceptable. I wad really looking forward to working with them since they were highly recommended by the community. I absolutely do not like to play this waiting game and being completely in the dark as to whether they’d show up. Less

I have used these guys twice in the past and had a great experience until now. I had booked our after summer detail for our van, Received a text well after my booked appointment saying they would be late and then ultimately trying to book way into the night which wouldn’t have worked due to kids activities. I’m very understanding and realize things happen and booked 2 weeks later since I won’t be working from home until then. That day comes and it’s raining really bad and he is running late. He arrives does a vacuum and says he can’t do it due to the rain. Which I understand… And he says he will book me in for the next week. This is starting to get ridiculous, I could just take it anywhere to get detailed. But say okay. Never heard from him or anyone from the company again… Less

Used them in the past and it was great, but no more. I think maybe they failed to hire employees who give A.S. Booked for both vehicles as we always do. No-show on the first car. Two hours late on the second. Just got in two days after they “finished”. They forgot to dry the carpets after they cleaned them. They’re soaked, not wet, soaked. And two days of wet carpet stewing in a car is unpleasant. This is a < 3 month old car, and this is the first clean. Wish we had just gone to the gas station car wash. Less

I've used this company 4 times now, 3 for work, and once on a personal vehicle. The first 2 times, the tech did a great job doing the interior/exterior detail on my work trucks, the other 2 times, they missed stuff and had to come back to finish. On this most recent use of them, they missed spots again so we scheduled a time for someone to come by and finish the job. At that time on the day, someone hadn't shown up yet nor did anyone give me a heads up saying they were running late, when Josh said they would let me know if they were. I texted to ask if someone was still coming and he said they were running behind and could get there in roughly two more hours. That didn't work for me since I already planned my afternoon around this. I let him know my next availability on Friday and never heard back him as of the Tuesday after that weekend, so I'm going to clean what they missed myself as I've already wasted enough of my time. I don't judge experiences based of mistakes, they're bound to happen, I judge them based off how they react to them. Josh's fix is crediting my account or sending someone to finish the job, but that shouldn't be the standard, especially when I'm paying $300+ for a detail. The work that does get done is good and I'm happy with, but the lack of attention to detail on half my vehicle details, and lack of respect for my time are the reasons I won't be using them again or recommending them to anyone. He worked very hard and used more time than was allotted. I had an interior clean and shampoo. The inside windshield was not cleaned. It still had the sheen of off-gasses from the interior and general dirtyness. Because I hadn't cleaned the exterior it was hard to know if he had done the inside. At the end I asked if he had done it and he said yes. The next day I ran my finger over the glass and it cut through the dirt. Honest mistake I thought. I texted him and got no response. Maybe he didn't read it. All the goodwill he created is lost over something this simple. The inside clean was awesome. Less

Last week was the fourth time I utilized SWYF's excellent services to clean my car—inside out and some. I declare I am a satisfied customer. I am stunned by the extent of their attention to detail, particularly last week; they cleaned my windows so well that I had to check a couple of times because I thought the windows were down. The windows were spotless. This satisfied customer will hire them again to clean the car because I trust them to do a fantastic job. Their prices are high; however, everything is now. Trust me, you get what you pay for, and those people coming to you to clean your car while you relax at home will make it worth every penny. Avoid letting the initial cost deter you. It is an investment in the long-term satisfaction of your car's cleanliness. Save up for it and watch for their sales then give them a call. I booked Swyf 1 week in advance for a Friday as I was selling my car on the Saturday. I received a reminder email the night before they would be there at 10am. At 10:30 I called a few times and left messages as no one showed up, and they finally called me at noon to confirm no one was coming. Would have been nice to know ahead of time as I didn’t have time to detail my car myself. Not even an apology given. Options they offered were to “ come back next week” or “ drive to poco to drop my car off” - the reason I booked mobile detailing was I had to work that day and couldn’t drive there, and I also didn’t have 2 hours to sit around and wait for them to detail my car. I assume they are good at what they do, but I did not have a good experience with their Customer Service. Less

I booked an interior detail for the following day and I’d never booked anything like this before so I had no idea what to expect. I was completely blown away by a young man named Brendan who cleaned my car out so well it looked and smelled as good as it did when I drove it off the lot brand new! Maybe even better… Very polite, detail oriented, efficient, punctual, honest and professional. And the prices were excellent considering how bad things are economically right now. I was referred to Swyf by a relative. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed with the service. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo and was assured at the time of booking that it wouldn't be a problem for the technician to clean the vehicle in the underground parkade because Swyf has a generator to power their machines. When the technician arrived he said his generator was broken and he'd have to use outlets in the underground parkade even though the high power machines usually blow the fuse. I had to make three separate trips downstairs to assist the technician in finding outlets that his extension cable reached. Each of them blew and eventually the technician said he wouldn't be able to finish the job. I was patient, helpful and understanding during this ordeal but I was not expecting to be charged the full rate since the technician admitted that he wasn't able to complete the service. I have been trying to reach someone to remedy the situation but the company is not responding. Swyf should have called me to reschedule the appointment when they realized the generator was broken. I use my car every day for work, and my partner and I use it for all our errands. On to of that we enjoy hiking, climbing, camping and on top of that I do woodworking and we have 2 cats. So needless to say the interior of my car gets a work out, though I keep it as clean as I have time for. Last year we booked swyf to do a full interior detail and clean. Needless to say it looked brand new when they were finished. We hired then again this week to do both of our cars as it's our wedding week. Super happy with their services and would recommend. Less

Won a interior detail for my van. Teagan did a fantastic job! Got sharpie off of parts of my vehicle that kids had written on and got a much used vehicle (daily transporting 4 kids plus used for field trips and transporting goods for school etc) that was pretty filthy despite me attempting to keep it clean. My kids were in awe that he removed the rear seats to really clean it all up inside and it looks almost as good as the day o brought it home! Having them do it at your home is also amazing as a parent of 4 young kids, taking it somewhere for 3+ hours of work would have been a headache. Plus it made for fun viewing for my kids from our living room plus neighbouring kids as well (we live in a townhouse complex) The fact that they come completely self sufficient is great! We used our visitor parking spot as we have no real driveway and our garage is a tandem so very little room to move around the vehicle. When I saw all the 5 star reviews for this company I must admit I was a little skeptical however they fully deserve their 5 stars. They came to my house and worked out in the bitter cold for hours. When they were finished my truck was immaculate. I had my truck detailed In preparation for a trade in. The dealer could find no fault and said the truck was pristine. I booked Swif to detail my husband's RAM 1500. We have a dog and a toddler and I'm pretty sure the inside of his truck has not been dusted or vacuumed in a very long time. We were able to get an appointment within a couple days. I felt like the price was reasonable and he arrived on time on a Saturday and did an exceptional job. I don't even remember the last time my ive seen his truck this clean. We will definitely be calling Swif again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient mobile auto detailer! We had an unfortunate cooler leaking incident camping last weekend, in which our meat leaked into the cooler and then subsequently leaked into the back of our mini-van. The seats were folded down in to the well, which meant that the water and meat liquid (blood) soaked into the carpet behind and under the seats, the seats themselves and the carpeted well/trunk they were folded into. It stunk. Bad. It's been hot all week since it happened. We came home on Tuesday, called detailers on Wednesday and had a prompt (within an hour) reply from Josh at Swyf. He understood the situation, had a plan and solution and immediately, quoted the job, booked us in for Friday, with the hopes of a cancellation trip for Thursday. He was quick to communicate that Thursday wasn't going to happen so we weren't waiting around all day, and he arrived promptly on Friday for our appointment time. Not only did he clean the area in question at the rear as agreed upon, but he also cleaned the kids middle row seats and threw in the wheels out of the kindness of his heart! He met the quoted price, was friendly, polite and did as was promised and my van is no longer stinky! Kohl arrived on time, was wearing a mask and following Covid protocols, and was very professional. I wish I took before photos of my car because the after photos are incredible. So impressed. I came across this young man and his business thru a faebook group and decided to book a service - using their website tool. It was fairly easy and I could get an appointment a few days away. He was responsive via phone/text and was very friendly to chat with. He came as scheduled with his van and got to work right away. Spent almost 4 hours on my kindergartner-ridden, sunscreen-smeared, camping-residue interior and needless to say I was speechless when I saw the end result!
