The dental work was good which is the only reason I'm giving it a star .The billing is horribly as they refuse to send over the treatment plan to my insurance to cover my dental work unless I agreed to get more work done . Upfront when the work I previously got covered wasn't done because they didn't send anything over to my provider . Please don't go here unless you want to be screwed .

My son is very scared of the dentist and getting filling. The whole shot and drillong thing. Well since this office used the laser there was no pain and no shots. Also dr and assistant were amazing at helping him stay calm and explain what was going on. We have to go back for another filling but this time he should be ok to jump in the chair and zap the sigar bugs with the laser again.

I'd like to start this one star review by saying that the one star has nothing to do with actual dental assistants and or dentists in the office (all of which were extremely professional and courteous.) I had switched to Upland Laser Dental last year because they were closer, and the service I received on my previous visit made me want to stay with them. Three weeks ago I scheduled an appointment on a day that was convenient with my work schedule (the closest date available) and I had made it clear that I wanted a full yearly checkup and also mentioned that I had lost a cap on one of my teeth that I wanted to take care of. Two days before my scheduled appointment, I was texted that there was not a doctor scheduled to be in the office for my appointment, so I would need to change the appointment. I asked for the closest date, which was 3 July, not a convenient date for me, but I texted my confirmation for 3 July. I then received confirmation that I was booked for TWO July. Eventually I was able to take care of this, no big deal. 3 July comes, I take a half day off from work (the appointment was for 2PM), I arrive at the office and wait for 50 minutes to be taken in to see the dentist. The dentist then asks what I am there for, which I explain is for my yearly checkup as well as fixing my cap. I was then told that my appointment was only for the tooth and I would have to make a different appointment for my yearly exam. At which point, I decided to leave as I felt the office was wasting my time. I write this review more for the office than for anything. It seems abundantly clear based on my own experience as well as now having read the many reviews on Yelp and other rating sites that you have a reception problem. I hope you are able to fix this problem for your other customers, however, I will not be returning. Less

Before finding Dr. Dat Nguyen I was terrified of going to the dentist. Not anymore! Everyone at Upland Smiles Dentistry is so friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Dr. Nguyen is quick and efficient with all his services, he explains everything he is doing clearly and makes you feel comfortable and prepared for everything. I have been going here for about 3 months now, have had a cleaning and X-Ray, and cavities filled during two different appointments and every time I have experienced no discomfort during or after my procedures.
