We are so grateful we were referred to Kristen for dog training. We were in the midst of some major puppy blues and not quite sure what to do next with our Labrador Retriever puppy who had all the happy puppy energy and none of the discipline when outside of our home. We discussed our priorities for our pup’s safety and well-being, and Kristen talked us through different options and took the time to educate us on different training tools available while understanding/addressing our overall concerns. Our pup attended Kristen’s tailored 3-week Train While you Work program and it feels like we can finally breathe again. Our pup has better impulse control especially with other dogs barking around her, she can walk loose leash rather than drag us across the street, and we noticed she was generally happier from the structure and “work” from training. We plan to continue our training partnership with Kristen as our pup grows and matures and we are excited that our pup can now be included in our daily activities without the stress and worry we had before. I had good expectations upon my research, and I wished I could have given a review that reflects her services better, but communication/professionalism is a part of it. I had reached out to Kristen via the online form and she texted me back asking me of my troubles. We had a back and forth conversation, just talking about the dog, when she suddenly did not respond back. The last thing that was said was I asked if I could call her. No response. I gave her four days and then texted/called her business phone to just follow up. Still nothing. I don't know if she has something else going on, which I would understand, but as a business owner, I think it is very irresponsible and unprofessional to just leave a potential client hanging with no update/response. Kristen was referred to us because our dog was exhibiting anxiety and challenges with impulse control while we walked him. Kristen communicated with me extensively before coming out to our house for a complimentary consultation. It was obvious to us that she had extensive knowledge in dog training. Today will be our third training session. Kristen videos her training sessions which enables us to see our pup's progress and we also learn how to best work with him as well.
