We LOVE Dr. Josh and his team. I cannot say enough good things about them. We were referred to Inspire Chiropractic by my 1 year old daughter’s therapists and now our entire family goes. My daughter, who has developmental delays, has made amazing progress with her milestones. She can now roll, clap, wave, and hold her own bottle; none of which she could do before seeing him. My 4 year old son with autism has also had many benefits. His chronic GI symptoms are now resolved and he is potty trained! The entire office staff is the friendliest healthcare staff I have encountered and that says so much with all the appointments we attend. I started treatment with Dr. Josh at Inspire a little over a month ago. When I walked through their doors, I felt like a lost cause, suffering with extreme lower back & neck pain and desperate for help. I had been working with an orthopedic surgeon for 5 months prior to this and was actually scheduled for the 1st of multiple nerve blocks and nerve ablation. My gut kept telling me that the orthopedic method wasn't right and was just a Band-Aid to my problems. NOTE: I suffered violent injuries and trauma 4 years prior, and little did I know that the lack off attention and proper treatment for those injuries would put me where I was on the day I walked in their doors. Fast forward to today, just the first month of treatment and I cannot begin to express to you the difference Dr. Josh has made my with back & neck. When I first saw him, I just wanted to be able to sleep all night or heck even 4,5 or 6 hours uninterrupted. My pain was so severe that I was lucky to get a total of 2-3 hours per night and this had been ongoing for a little over 9 months. I felt like a zombie on the daily, yet I am a Wife, Mother, Employee, Daughter, Sister, and Friend, so my duties never stopped and I had to keep on pushing, while being absolutely miserable in pain, exhausted from zero sleep and quite frankly just feeling all around defeated. At the start of the my treatment, I couldn't lay down flat in a bed, I couldn't lay on either side longer than 15-20 minutes and would build an elevated tower of pillows out of desperation to get sleep. This method continued when treatment first started and I found myself getting a little more sleep here and there. I also knew that I had to try to lay down like a normal person at some point and get rid of this tower of pillows, as that's best for my treatment and healing. With the encouragement from Dr. Josh, I began to reduce this elevated tower of pillows and by great surprise, as of last week... (.....drum roll please.....) I no longer need the tower of pillows. As a matter of fact, I can sleep about 6 hours a night (still have some interruptions-but WOW, huge improvement in a short time!) While this may seem mild to some, this is a HUGE deal for me. I am starting to feel human again!! I personally wanted to wait a good while before giving any type of review, but I decided to go ahead and share my story because it might just be what someone else needs to hear. If you're looking for your sign, this is it "Do it girl, just do it!" My initial treatment plan is for 3 months, then we will evaluate how I am doing and go from there on the rest of my treatment. Initially I felt my goals were not in reach and that I would be a year or more before I would feel like a human again, boy was I wrong. I do still have neck and back pain, but I am making progress and that is all I can ask for. Reaching one goal at a time and improving daily is success in my book. I can't wait for the 3 month mark to get here and look back on how far I have come, with the help of Dr. Josh. I do plan to come back and add more details as my treatment continues and concludes. So stay tuned! P.S. The staff here is just lovely. They have memories like no other (they remembered my name after 1 visit, just 1! ) They are super friendly, helpful and visiting their office several times a week has become the highlight and "sunshine" of my day. Edit: 2/11/22: I completed my initial 3 months of treatment and I am happy to say that I can sleep through the night without pain in my lower back. On rare occasion I have neck pain, but a lot of that is me trying to find the right pillow as my body continues to adjust and adapt to the changes. I now go once a week and look forward to the visits decreasing while I continue to maintain overall better health. -Casey Less
