I had pinched nerve on my left shoulder. I went to Adkins Chiro looking to get Full Body Adjustment, but I was wrong.(1) They force me to take X Ray of my head to waist $199.00No X Ray Necessary for just pinched nerve right ?(2) They set me up with 24 treatments plan which worth $3,800.00 for pinched nerve.(3) I have 100% Cover Medicare, but I felt terrible for Medicareto pay this doctor $3,800.00 for good old Pinched Nerve(4) He told me my neck is slightly curved... so need to treat itfor $3,800.00 I am 67 years old professional golfer, myneck is not perfect(5) I was expecting Full Body Adjustment just like you seeon Youtube.(6) I am currently disputing $199.00 I paid for NOTHING.Lastly I went to Chinese Chiropractor in China Town inHouston He did full body joint adjusment for $78.00That what I was looking for. Not unnecessary 3 monthsworth of treatment for $3,800.00 for minor PINCHED NERVEis not right.

Dr. Adkins and his wonderful team are a gem in the community. I had been dealing with low back pain and sciatica for well over a year and after bringing my dad, who was already a patient, to a few of his appointments, I decided that I would tolerate the pain no more and make my own appointment. Dr. Adkins has the BEST bedside manner that I’ve ever experienced. He is soft spoken, thorough, and super caring. His treatments have given me hope and I am sleeping so much better now because of them. I highly recommend stopping by to address your back issues. He even accepts walk-ins. Audrey and Veronica, the sweet ladies on his staff are warm and welcoming. You are greeted by name as you walk in and that says a lot.

I never leave Reviews since all service I got so far in my67 years of life was descent until I went to this Chiro placeI went there hoping to pop my body to take care of pinched nerve on my left shoulder since I practice and play golf 3 times a week. But I got X ray taken cost me $199.00 Then they made treament plan of 24 visits @ $3,800.00 for my neck slightly bent. I am 67 yeras olf Golfer, sorry my neck was not perfectly straight. Human body is not perfect. All I wanted was body adjustement (cracking bones as you see on man Youtube) I stop visiting this practice after they told me $3,800 treatment. (of course I got medicare covers 100% but I hate to see hardworking Americans to pay $3,800 for my pinched nerve ) I am disputing $199.00 with my Chase bank since I was not happy with the SERVICE I received from this office. Hate to give away my hard workin $199.00 for unnessary x ray. Of course, this doctor will argue that X ray was necessary before treatment, but to me adjusting shoulder bone to relieve pinched nerve, X ray was not necessary. By the way he only showed me X ray of my neck , not Left Shoulder. So $199 X ray was not necessary. Please kindly refund $199.00 After that I went to China town for famour Chiropractor, he adjuted my entire body popppin all my bones for only $78.00 What a joke that I visited this office. $78.00 took care of my PINCHED NERVE. Lastly I see the same kind of reviews like mine posted on this reviews.------ below is the same kind of review from other personI am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at Adkins Chiropractic. I went in with neck and shoulder pain, and after just two visits, I was told I needed to set up a two year plan where I was expected to pay $1500. As a full time student, this was not an option for me, and I was looking for something that would simply help with my newly formed pain. During my second visit, I was not given pricing before the Dr. made just one little adjustment... and then was charged $65. I was never presented with pricing for this long term plan until the THIRD time I asked. The staff then proceeded to discuss finances with me in the waiting room, where 5 other guests could overhear. I am embarrassed and disappointed with Adkins Chiropractic and their practice and would not recommend it to anyone.----below is the same kind of bad reviews about X-Ray Cost---I have been to a few chiropractors in Houston.I literally came in for a routine adjustment. I mentioned some other issues that I notated as minor on my questionnaire, because I figured if I'm there I might as well give them some special attention. What I didn't know was that this would lead to them try FORCE x-rays on me. Even when I went to a chiropractor actually in pain they never required me to take x-rays(the choice was given). I personally felt like this was a cash grab. It may not be the case, but I definitely feel that way. I'll be taking that 30 minute drive from here on. I am so disappointed. I was hoping that this place would have worked out with it being so close to my home.

Dr Adkins is an awesome Chiropractor I started going to him and was hardly able to walk my back was in so much pain. He told me it would take 24 to 28 trips to get me lined out, right now I am a little over half way and I am not hurting near as much I am walking straighter up and down and feeling better.

Dr. Adkins and the staff are always professional, friendly, and welcoming. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my back pain since starting treatment. Highly recommend!
